Research Lab

The lab is engaged in developing the environmental and eco-friendly technologies by exploiting the primary and secondary resources available. It has an expertise in processing the materials/composites from waste materials (Flyash/Redmud/Gypsum/Biochar). The synthesis and surface modifications of metal oxide based composites are employed in environment and energy applications. Various investigations are performed to study the adsorption/photocatalytic behaviour of the composites (metal oxides impregnated/waste materials) in batch and continuous mode operations for adsorbing or degrading the organic/inorganic pollutants from wastewater.
